Some women are considered “unbankable” or are disinherited from their families, leaving them unable to ever get a loan or access start-up capital. So rather than requiring payback, we honor their hard work by simply matching the savings a woman has collected through her bra selling business.

What have these grants done?

Purchased land, built houses, wired for electricity, paid university tuition (for them or their children), dental surgery, tools for a woodworking shop, nursing certificate, even paying for a son’s suit for his high school graduation ceremony. She (and her children- and even her children’s children!) will see the tangible fruit of her hard work - and can continue on the journey to truly thrive!
